Can encrypted messages be hacked?
Attackers often bypass encryption instead of breaking the cipher. They steal login codes, compromise a device, abuse account recovery, trick a recipient, or capture the message after it is decrypted. Strong encryption reduces one attack path but does not eliminate all others.
Can end-to-end encrypted messages be recovered?
Recovery depends on the app’s secure-storage or backup system. A verified account, recovery PIN, platform backup, one-time code, or stored recovery key may restore access. Without an authorized recovery path or key, legitimate decryption may be impossible.
